It's hard to believe that I have managed to come up with 100 posts to bore you with.
But I have! This is #100!
So to celebrate- I'm going to have a giveaway.
This one is sort of geographically specific.
Like you have to live close enough to Sharpsburg, GA to drive there.
Because the WINNER gets the honor and privilege of having dinner with me and Evan!
And I will let you choose whether or not you want to hang out with our kids or not.
Because I know that some of you like them better than you like us.
And if you have kids, well maybe they can come along too?
Or maybe we can just have a double date?
And oh, if you are single, bring it on!
No one is to be excluded.
In fact, if you don't live within driving distance of us, we'll send you some sort of certificate for dinner. How about that!
So here are the rules:
In the comments, tell the world how you know me and Evan.
Make sure to include at least your first name.
If you are a blog stalker, now's your chance- get it out there for the world.
And if you have been stalking me, I will give you 2 entries into the contest if you will make yourself known- either by just saying "Hey, here I am" or becoming a follower.
The winner will be chosen by random.org.
It's that easy.
Contest ends Monday, may 31st at noon.
So on your mark, get set, GO!

i know you and evan from ccf. we usually sat together at bible study in the back and had lots of very excellent laughs. also, we were neighbors when y'all were newlyweds (shout out - hartford place), and i passed out programs at your wedding (do you remember that?)(best wedding job ever, btw)

i love y'all and miss y'all and totally want to catch up on everything!!!
(is that enough to get "random.org" to choose me??!!

  5. I've known you since we were in Mrs. Flowers second grade class together. I think that's the year you wore a very acid-washed jean jacket in our class picture...
I met Evan after you decided he was a keeper, during our freshman year at GT. I remember you telling me about the night you met him at Zesto's (is that part right?). He knew who Dale Ernhardt was, or rather you knew who he was... the details may be off, but I think I'm close.
I'll be home June 5, so I may cash-in on dinner in person with you if I win! And perhaps I'll have dinner with you even if I don't win!

  6. I know you from church. Evan was the first "young person" to greet us after we had been visiting for several weeks.
I definitely stalk your blog! and thoroughly enjoy it!

  7. We met y'all 12+ years ago in Rick Harper's Sunday School class. It seems like a million years ago. We've had some wings and beer, tailgated a little, talked a lot of GT football, looked at way to much of Burt Reynolds, and been to way to many church outings to count. We've all changed a lot since then, but I like to think it was for the better.
